A Riveting Plot
The After School Movie Program is an after school program aimed at unlocking students’ creativity and artistic expression through the exploration of film-making and animation. This program promotes learning through hands-on discovery while guiding students through various film-making components, animation techniques, and special effects. The participants will be introduced to these components through a number of small projects and mini-lessons that will culminate in a final product incorporating all of their skills. This program encourages cooperation and communication in order for students to develop essential life skills such as confidence, innovation, self-discipline, and expression of emotion. Most importantly, we want everyone to have fun.
The After School Movie Program is offered at your child's school once a week for two hours after school. No special transportation is required. All activities take place in the school or on the school grounds.
The After School Movie Program is made up of students at your child's school. Therefore, the students all know each other and already have some experience working together. The Program is run by Stephen Meadus and Stephen Walsh, certified teachers and movie enthusiasts.
